To follow is President Mike Rejczyk's message to Alabama Elks;
My fellow Elks,
As I have traveled around our state the last few years as District Deputy and as President-Elect, I have seen first hand the many good things that we are doing. This has been especially true this past year under the able leadership of Gwen Parker.
For the first time in many years, the Alabama Elks Association had a gain in membership - a small one, but a gain nevertheless. I intend to build on that success. Hence, my motto - “Staying On Track With Elkdom.”
Another example of “Staying On Track” will be my goal of establishing a viable State Major Project which all of us will support, and one of which we can all be proud.
There are innumerable people in Alabama Elkdom that are capable of great things, and I intend to call upon them for their talent, advice, and love of the principles of our Order. Again, “Staying On Track With Elkdom.”
I think I have never been more proud than when I crossed that stage in Portland, and carried the flag that so many great Elks carried before me.
Thank you all for the confidence you have placed in me by giving me the honor of serving you and Alabama Elkdom as your State President.
Won’t you join me, and help us to “Stay On Track?”
