The Alaska State Elks Youth Camp sends almost 200 girls and boys, ages 9 to 13, through one week summer camps every year at no cost to the children or their families. Our goal is to provide a fun and safe Alaskan camping experience while sharing the values of pride in America and community support. We know today's youth are tomorrow's leaders. We hope this camp positively influences one or two of our future leaders. We also rent the camp to private organizations focused on providing a positive environment for physically challenged and handicapped children. The ARC of Anchorage has sponsored Camp Aurora at the Alaska State Elks Youth Camp since 2000. We hope to continue to support this outstanding program and find many more organizations with similar goals. Finally, we rent the camp at reasonable rates for family reunion's, ATV Adventures, meetings and conferences, week long retreats, and other special interest organizations.
