"Thank you for the opportunity to receive an education at a renowned university through your scholarship."

State Project: Kentucky Elks Association
Kids with Cancer and Lifeline for the Elderly

The Kentucky State Major Project is Kids with Cancer, this is a project which will aid families with children affected by Cancer. We are raising funds to help support two camps one on the east side of the state and one in the west. Camp Quality and Indian Summer camps provide a week of fun and relaxation for children who are dealing with grown up problems. Check our Links page for information regarding these wonderful camps. Lifeline is still a part of our major project. Lifeline is a system which obtains help for older and ailing people who may become suddenly disabled and require assistance. The Lifeline unit works through the phone. An 800 number that summons help is activated through the push of a button that the user wears.
