As an Elks scholar, we know you are committed to serving your community. Why not join other Elks scholars and make a big impact? This year, Elks scholars across the nation are uniting in service during the Elks Scholar Week of Service. Community Clean-Up is the 2010 annual Elks scholar cause. During the April 18-24, 2010, Elks Scholar Week of Service, Elks scholars will come together on campuses and help clean up their community! Get Involved!
We challenge each Elks scholar to get involved in the 2010 Elks Scholar Week of Service. Here is how you can join the cause:
Why Serve?
Getting together with Elks scholars in your area for the 2010 Elks Scholar Week of Service is a great way to help your community while building friendships with fellow Elks scholars. During the week of service, we encourage you to send in photos, videos and descriptions of your service activities. You may be featured online, and will be eligible to win a pizza party for all Elks scholars who participate, along with a $500 grant to be donated to the nonprofit organization of your choice. This information must be received by April 30, 2010. Groups will compete for most Elks scholar participation, most creative project and most Week of Service coverage on campus. Winners will be announced at the beginning of May 2010.
