Coos Bay Lodge #1160 receives Impact Grant renewal
The Coos Bay Elks #1160 is awarded a 2010 Impact Grant renewal. "The competition was fierce," Jim O'Kelley, Director of ENF reports. "We received 161 grant applications and selected 50 to receive awards of up to $10,000" Director O'Kelley further states. Coos Bay Lodge will use the $10,000 to again support the South Coast Snack Pack program for the Bunker Hill School. While the financing is for this school, the Coos Bay Elks and volunteers provide the labor to fix snack packs for 9 other schools in the Southern Oregon area, further strengthing the motto ELKS CARE-ELKS SHARE.
