Neil McKenna (neil.mckenna1@us.army.mil)
To all members of Lodge #205. My name is Major Neil McKenna and I am a Canadian Army Liaison Officer who has been stationed at Fort Gordon here in Augusta for almost three years. Unfortunately, three years is all they will let me stay here and my time to return to Canada is fast approaching. There are many things to do prior to our departure, but one of the things at the top of my list was to find a way to once again say thank you to the great people at Lodge #205. Your Lodge was absolutely instrumental in allowing my son to succeed at his Greenbrier High School Senior Project. Your allowing him to use your great facility to hold his Valentine's Day Dance was a sincere demonstration of your graciousness, generosity and good will. Through our experiences with the Elks myself, my wife Sylvie, and Alexander learned much about your organization and all the good it does each and every day. You have provided us with some very special memories and you all now have a special place in our hearts. The positive role you played in Alexander's experiences here in Augusta will never be forgotten by Sylvie and I.
Thank-you, Neil McKenna & Sylvie Beauchemin
