Winter has just about left our neck of the woods, and the geese are heading back to the north country. Its warming up and maple sap is starting to run. Can’t wait to have some fresh New York State maple syrup!

We plan on being in Lima and plan to visit this Lodge. Even though the Elk's Lodge # 1988 of Walterboro i s my home lodge, I feel that Lima Lodge is my first home. My dad, Harry Schlott, was a member for many years. One of my first memories is having a coke at the Elk's with a glass straw - of course that was many years a go. My daughter [also an Elk] with her new son and I will be dropping in during September. Looking forward to seing "my old home" Elk's! Susan Keith
