Welcome to the Prescott Elks Lodge #330, Mother Lodge of Arizona
Prescott, Arizona, holds the distinction of being the birthplace of the first Elks Lodge (BPOE) in the state. In December 1895, a group of enterprising businessmen, products of the rugged early west, embarked on an ambitious journey. They drafted the original petition for a dispensation and later established the Prescott Elks Lodge #330, affectionately known as the “Mother Lodge of Arizona.”
The Prescott Elks Lodge played a pivotal role in the community’s development. In 1905, they constructed the Prescott Elks Opera House, a remarkable architectural feat. Today, the lodge has relocated to Prescott Valley and has been serving the community for over a century and a half.
Prescott Valley is situated approximately 90 miles northwest of Phoenix, offering residents four distinct seasons. Winters are mild to cool, while summers are warm to hot. This pleasant climate contributes to the city’s allure and attracts visitors throughout the year.
