Roebuck, AL Lodge No. 79 was instituted in 1889, and currently has 61 members.
For the year 2025, the lodge was awarded a Spotlight Grant from the Elks National Foundation to support the development of programs benefiting local youth, veterans, and others in need. Lodge members voted to use the Spotlight Grant to assist Heidi's Kids, a local nonprofit, by contributing to its Blessing Sacks initiative. Additionally, the lodge received both the Beacon and Gratitude Grants, which were used to support the Center Point Fire Department's Christmas for Kids Program, Heidi's Kids Holiday Assistance Program, and other community projects.
The lodge is the proud sponsor of Skylar Erwin, a winner of the MVS Scholarship 2024.The lodge meets 2nd & 4th Mondays only, at 804 Gadsden Hwy, between Roebuck Pkwy & I-459, Birmingham, AL. Meetings start at 6:30PM.
