Summer is around the corner and the sun is ready to shine brightly. Fittingly, we are celebrating a wonderful bright spot in the 1989. Rudie Pletz has been instrumental in so many wonderful improvements to our Lodge. Originally a member and Past Exalted Ruler of the Port-land Lodge (now Milwaukie-Portland), Rudie transferred to Beaverton a couple of years ago after being an Associate for many years. In his time with Beaverton, Rudie has offered immense time and effort to cleaning up our finances and establishing processes and protocols within our bookkeeping program. Rudie is a past Chair of the Auditing Committee, always successfully ensuring we were adhering to Grand Lodge Procedures in our record keeping. Rudie can be counted on to participate in numerous Lodge events including Christmas Baskets, Hoop Shoot, Cook-off Fundraisers, and numerous others. Rudie is a committed, experienced, and informed Elk who generously shares his knowledge and mentorship. Rudie can be counted on to greet you with a smile, joke, and positive attitude. He is always willing to lend a hand when needed. Thank you, Rudie, for all you do to make our Lodge great!
