Tucson AZ Elks Lodge #385 donated 24 soccer balls and basketballs to support Physical Education programs at Tucson AZ Nash Elementary School on Wednesday April 20, 2022. The school was also provided with 160 bottles of water and several American Flags to be used in the classrooms. On March 23, 2022, Tucson Elks Lodge #385 donated backpacks filled with school supplies, a bicycle and safety helmet to 25 children at Tucson Nash Elementary School as part of the Elks Lodge 385 Annual Cloth A Child program. Bicycles were donated by Tucson's Lugo Charities, helmets by Tucson Medical Center, and backpacks by Elks Lodge #385. In picture ER Wayne Burns and some happy kids. Getting ready for Elks Lodge 385, the AZ south district Hoop Shoot District at Frank & Edith Morton Clubhouse Boys & Girls Club in Tucson, AZ on Saturday, January 21, 2022. For nearly 50 years, the Hoop Shoot has been developing gritty kids. The Elks Hoop Shoot is a free throw program for youth ages 8 to13. Lodge Hoop Shoot Contest 2021 Our annual Lodge Hoop Shoot contest was held at the Steve Daru Boys and Girls Club on Saturday November 6th. Fifteen participants in three age groups shot 25 free throws each. The following winners will advance to the District Hoop Shoot on January 22nd, 2022 8 – 9 Boys Jose Navarro 8 – 9 Girls Dezirac Lopez 10 – 11 Boys Nicholas Medina 10 – 11 Girls Victoria Navarro 12 – 13 Boys Kaleb Gonzales 12 – 13 Girls Sophia Lopez Thanks for the support of our eleven members and Ben Hurley, Amphi High Basketball Coach, with five of his players who handled the ball retriever duties. Tucson Elks Lodge 385 golfers attended the Major Projects fund raiser at Oro Valley Country Club on Monday August 23rd. Left to Right: Mike Lessley, Katrina Sharp, Chris Dimit, Jim Sanford, Greg Price, Katie Murdoch Executive Director AEA Major Projects, Deanna McKinney, Wayne Burns, Bob Holyoak, Wayne Thompson, Jerry Ford, Gary Turner, Sheri Turner. Wayne Thompson’s team won first place shooting 62 and Jim Sanford’s team won 2nd place shooting 63. Katina Sharp won closest to the pin on hole 17 with a 9 ft 8 in shot from the pin. The Tucson golfers contributed $675.00 to Major Projects. Thank you to Catalina Lodge 2815 for sponsoring the golf tournament.

Our lodge’s Crafty Critters weekly-group members donated nearly 43 pillowcases they made to the Children's Steele Center of Tucson on July 2.
