The food purchased with the Gratitude Grant for Edgewood Church Food Bank was delivered Wednesday morning. Thank you to all that showed up. We will be delivering Good Shepherd and St. Anthony’s as soon as the purchase is complete.

Today we had the privilege of delivering $2200 worth of items to “In His Name Ministry” food bank. Thank you to the members that support ENF. This was our $2000 Spotlight Grant project. Thank you to Bingo for donating $200 worth of peanut butter to this project. Thank you to all the members that helped deliver the food & water. We are blessed to have great members that believe in giving back to our community. “Elks Care!! It was a pleasure presenting “The Randy Peters’ Scholarship” to Taylor Tomedolskey on May 25, 2022. Taylor is the daughter of Mark & Terri Hansen Tomedolskey.

Walterboro SC Elks Lodge #1988 Celebrated with American Legion Post 93 "The Vietnam Veteran's" today. These women and men did a remarkable job. Looking forward to next year and an even bigger crowd. Thank you to all Veteran's for your service!

Congratulations to Michael Witkin for finishing 3rd in the 12–13-year-old boys. The Southeast Hoop Shoot contest was held at Valdosta State in Valdosta GA.



Another beautiful day at the Walterboro Elks Lodge. We took 35 care boxes to our Special Needs Adults. They were happy about getting boxes. I want to thank Ernest Enfinger and Paul Turner for helping this morning. I want to thank Denise-Godley Givens for getting the Beacon Grant approved. I also want to thank her 4 sons for all their hard work getting the boxes ready. We are doing great things at the Lodge. God Bless Angus ER



Today the Walterboro Elks Lodge was able to pick up Food for the Local Food Pantries in Walterboro. St Anthony’s Catholic Church, Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, and In His Name Ministries. This was our Spotlight Grant. It was a real joy and a good feeling that we were able to do this. I want to thank Ms. Denise-Godley Givens for writing up the Grants and sending them to the Grand Lodge. She knows how to write them up and get money back. I want to Thank Ernest Enfinger, Paul Turner, Bob Tiegs, Betty Enfinger, Robert Baggett, Mary Jo Fox, Denise-Godley Givens and Paul Pye for Volunteering their time this morning.

The Elk’s held their Southeast District Hoop Shoot on the February 12th, 2022, at Citadel Mall. Walterboro had 4 Kids that participated. From left to right: Brooklyn Stuard placed 1st in the girls 12-13, Michael Witkin placed 1st in the Boys 12-13, Sam Witkin placed 2nd in the Boys 10-11, Darrly White placed 3rd in the Boys 8–9. Brooklyn and Michael will compete again on the 27th of February 2022 for the State competition in Columbia.
