The 2012 Skowhegan-Madison Elks Hoop Shoot was held at Madison Memorial High School on Jan. 6, and the following youngsters won or finished second in their division. The Waterville Elks recaptured “Romeo,” the Central District Roaming Elk from the Skowhegan-Madison Lodge on Sept. 22, the night of the first Drag Queen Contest fund-raiser for the Veterans’ Service Committee. Veterans' Committee Chairman Ray Noe was the master of ceremonies at the first-ever Drag Queen Contest on Sept. 22, 2012. Eight guys dressed up for the event which raised $379 for the committee.

Carroll Ware won 1st prize in the first-ever Drag Queen Contest Sept. 22, 2012, and shows his appreciation to Exalted Ruler Ron Voisine.



Tom Clarke had the other contestants "green with envy" at the Sept. 22, 2012 Drag Queen Contest.

Doug Sidelinger didn't get the "Best Legs" prize, but he sure had fun at the Sept. 22, 2012 Drag Queen Contest.
