Pomelow, a Vietnam veteran, wanted the lodge to recognize the 89,000 American service members still unaccounted for since World War II. The Lodge Activities Committee, chaired by Louann Barnes, hosted a Hawaiian luaa on Sept. 22,2007 featuring a roast pork, scalloped potatoes, pasta salads, fresh corn-on-the-cob and more. The $9.95 meal drew a huge crowd.
