Community Awards Banquet March 28, 2015 - Officers from both Niceville and Valparaiso as well as personnel from Okaloosa County EMS were presented awards as Policeman of the year, Fireman of the year and Paramedic of the year. Receiving awards were: Niceville Fireman Mike James, Valparaiso Fireman, Mark Avera, Valparaiso Policeman, Carl Bonham, Niceville Policeman Matthew Hudson and Okaloosa County Paramedic Tim Busby.
