Tucson Elks Lodge #385, donates again to the Southern AZ Community Food Bank using the Beacon Grant in the amount of $3,500. With this donation Lodge #385 has donated $8,000.00. Pictured, L-R ER, M. Tucson Elks Lodge @385 Americanism Essay Contest winner for 6-2020. Participants in this program write essays on patriotic themes selected by the local Lodge Americanism Committee and compete for National Recognition and other awards. The Lodge Contest included schools within the jurisdiction of the Lodge. Pictured with 2020 winner are Lodge officers.

June 26th 2020, Tucson Elks Lodge #385 donated to the Veterans Homeless Program 25 backpacks, bottled water, socks and underwear, using Elks National Veterans Service Commission Freedom grant money and donations totaling $1083.00. With all going on, Lodge 385 was not able to take kids to Walmart for Clothe A Child, so the lodge went to the school. Trustee/PER B. Holyoak and Mario, rep from Helen Keeling Elementary School receiving, soccer balls notebooks, other school learning related items, plus $2,500 worth of gift cards for kids Clothe A Child, made possible by the Elks Beacon Grant.
