Deep Creek Elks Lodge 2763 September Special Events
A Note from your ER:
On September 7 our District Vice President, Roger Spencer and his wife Irma, along with several other current and past State and District officers, will be visiting our Lodge for the Vice President’s Dinner. This is an excellent opportunity for Deep Creek Elks Lodge 2763 to both showcase our Lodge and our member generosity. The Vice President’s Dinner is an event that allows our District Officers to visit Lodges in their District, while also conveying the yearly theme for the newly elected State President. This year that theme is “Exemplifying Elkdom.” I share State President Russell Smith’s goal. One of the reasons that Stephanie and I have made Lodge 2763 our Elks home is because that is how we feel when we walk through the doors. I, along with the rest of our leadership team, and our Lodge partners, have been emphasizing the four tenets of Elkdom: Charity, Justice, Brotherly Love, and Fidelity. I would very much appreciate if many of you would join us in celebrating those virtues, and our new District Vice President on September 7. The flyer for the event is posted here on Facebook with the reservation number. Thank you in advance for participating! Additionally, on September 8, our Lodge will be hosting a fund raising event for Tunnels to Towers. This is a charity that has special meaning for many of our Lodge brothers and sisters. There is information regarding that event here on Facebook also. I look forward to seeing many of you on September 7 and 8.
