Shop With A Cop Planning Meeting - Tuesday October 15th, 7:00pm
On Tuesday, October 15, 7:00, we will have a planning meeting for the Shop With A Cop Breakfast and also a meeting to discuss the Giving Hearts program. Art Hammen, the coordinator of the Shop With A Cop Breakfast, will be with us to share food items that he has purchased/donated from US Foods and support from the Gladstone Police Department. The breakfast is scheduled for Saturday morning, October 26, 7:30-11:30. The largest responsibility will be preparing the bacon, egg casserole, ham and sausage on Friday night and Saturday. We will need a little help downstairs. I believe the Civil Air Patrol cadets will bus tables and the police will serve food. However, in case the cadets are unavailable and if the police get called out on a situation, we will need to back fill their positions. The money raised from this breakfast will be used to purchase winter clothing items and toys for income eligible elementary aged children in the North KC School District. We will need your support.
