Lodge Hosts Sock Hop for Southeast Florida Honor Flight
Southeast Florida Honor Flight is a 100% volunteer organization based in Stuart, FL and dedicated to honoring veterans. They utilize Palm Beach International Airport for each of their four Honor Flights per year. They are proud to serve veterans in Indian River, St. Lucie, Martin, Palm Beach, Glades and Okeechobee counties.
On September 24, 2024 Elks Lodge member Ken Roberts and his friend Dave Caswell sponsored a fabulous and fun Sock Hop for the Southeast Florida Honor Flight at the Vero Beach Elks Lodge. Thank you to all the guests and donors who attended event. Enough funds were raised to allow 24 Veterans to visit Washington DC via Honor Flight. We collected over $6,000 at the event and Honor Flight added matching funds for a total of $12,000.
