Veterans Remembrance Month
“So long as there are Veterans, The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks will never Forget them”. November is Veterans Remembrance Month. We give thanks to the men and women that provide the very freedoms this Nation was founded upon. We remember those that paid the ultimate sacrifice to continue providing that very freedom.
Whether Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine, Coast Guard or Border Patrol, sacrifices have been made. The men and women which serve our Nation have written a blank check to protect each and every one of us. “All gave some, some gave all”.
We, as Elks, are dedicated to the United States veteran. WE WILL NEVER FORGET. Wouldn’t it be nice to send a few Christmas cards to a wounded or hospitalized soldier. Our Veterans ask very little of us, but always gave their all. There are many in care at the Buffalo Veterans Hospital without anyone for this or any holiday season.
