Roebuck Lodge Continues to Support Heidi's Kids
On Saturday, July 13th Roebuck Elks Lodge 79 was the site for a Lemonade Stand, as part of Chic-fil-A’s “Little Hands Doing Big Things” fundraiser for Heidi’s Kids.
Chic-fil-A provided three gallons of lemonade and cups. The lodge served as the location for the Lemonade Stand, and members aided the host, Charles Sparks, and his little brother Rhett, as they greeted and served their customers. In addition to lemonade, the boys also sold cookies and popcorn that had been donated by lodge members.
The money raised during this project will benefit Heidi’s Kids Blessing Sack program which provides meals for over 150 local children who are undernourished when they are away from school and not receiving school breakfast and lunch.
In total, Charles raised $700.00 for Heidi’s Kids!
